IoTMATE Documentation

Welcome to IoTMATE documentation. This guide will help you understand our IoT platform, integrate hardware devices, use the cloud dashboard, and work with our APIs.

IoT Platform Overview

IoTMATE provides an end-to-end IoT solution including:

  • Hardware Design: Custom PCB design, embedded firmware development
  • Connectivity: LoRaWAN, LTE, WiFi, and Bluetooth modules
  • Cloud Platform: Device management, data storage, analytics dashboard
  • Mobile Apps: iOS and Android apps for device control
  • Manufacturing: Complete device manufacturing and assembly

Hardware Integration

Our hardware modules come pre-configured with IoTMATE cloud connectivity. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Power Up Device

Connect power supply as per device specifications (typically 5V-12V DC).

Step 2: Network Configuration

For LoRaWAN devices, ensure gateway is online. For WiFi devices, use the mobile app for network setup.

Step 3: Cloud Registration

Device will automatically register with IoTMATE cloud using pre-provisioned credentials.

Cloud Dashboard

Access your IoTMATE dashboard to monitor devices, view analytics, and manage configurations.

Dashboard Features:

  • Real-time device monitoring and status
  • Historical data visualization with charts
  • Alert configuration and notifications
  • Device configuration and OTA updates

API Reference

IoTMATE provides REST APIs for device data access and management.

Common Endpoints:

GET /devices - List all devices
GET /devices/:id/data - Get device telemetry
POST /devices/:id/command - Send command to device
PUT /devices/:id/config - Update device config

Mobile App Setup

IoTMATE mobile apps are available for both iOS and Android platforms.

iOS App

Download from App Store or contact support for enterprise distribution.

Android App

Download from Play Store or get APK directly from support.

LoRaWAN Configuration

LoRaWAN devices use long-range, low-power connectivity ideal for sensors and remote monitoring.

Gateway Setup:

  • Connect gateway to power and Ethernet/4G
  • Gateway will auto-connect to IoTMATE network server
  • Verify gateway status in dashboard

Device Configuration:

  • Devices come pre-provisioned with AppEUI and DevEUI
  • OTAA activation happens automatically
  • Data transmission interval configurable via downlink
